Introducing PVH’s Newest BRG: LOLA

We are excited to welcome LOLA, our newest Business Resource Group (BRG). As part of our ongoing Inclusion & Diversity journey, we are listening to our associates and their needs, and identifying areas where we can drive the greatest impact within our workplace. At PVH, we strive to foster a workplace culture where all associates feel empowered to be themselves and can count on us to provide opportunities for advancement and growth. LOLA, which stands for Latinxs Organized for Leading & Achieving, is our latest action in creating more opportunity for representation at all levels of the organization, and ensuring that our different perspectives are reflected in the way our business operates.

In PVH’s recently established I&D commitments, we put forth a target to double Black and Hispanic/Latinx representation at Director and VP levels in the U.S. by 2026. Our goal is for PVH associates to reflect the diversity of our consumers in communities around the world where we live and work, and to create opportunities for underrepresented populations within our workplace.

“It is an incredible opportunity to recognize our largest associate population in the U.S. and Canada, give them a voice, listen to their concerns and help be an advocate to make further progress in hiring, retention and promotion of our Latinx associates. It will be an enlightening experience to learn more about the culture and connect with more of our associates across the brands and businesses,” David Sirkin, CEO Heritage Brands, serving as Executive Sponsor of LOLA.

Meet LOLA co-chairs, Isabelle Civil, Sr Allocator, and Daniel Medina, Senior Strategic Initiatives Analyst, who have shared some insight on why the BRG was created and what we can look forward to in the future.

Why did you choose LOLA as the name?

The name first acknowledges our commitment to the diverse identities within the community (Latinx being a gender-neutral/gender-inclusive term) and emphasizes our determination to create opportunities for the Latinx community inside and outside of PVH.

What are you goals for establishing LOLA?

Our mission is to provide an inclusive platform centered on celebrating the diverse Latinx community at PVH, while being a resource for associates to develop and achieve their full potential professionally, personally, and beyond. By promoting community engagement, cultural awareness, diverse recruitment, and career development, we are invested in making a positive impact within and outside the PVH community.

What are you looking forward to most for LOLA in this upcoming year?

Building an engaging and open community, both virtually and in-person. The Latinx community encompasses many different identities and experiences so it will be exciting to learn and share within LOLA, as well as champion allyship with other BRGs.

Why do you think it is important for PVH to continue to expand its BRG chapters?

BRGs are driven by associates, and it is evident that associates want to build a more inclusive and equitable workplace. BRG chapters may represent different groups and regions, yet there is a high level of intersectionality, which truly captures the Power of PVH.

Our BRGs are a resource for both associates and the business. They enhance our company culture through education and awareness and can be a partner to influence change. BRGs are powerful tools that support the recruitment, development and retention of diverse, talented individuals. Each BRG focuses on a different area of diversity but are open to all and welcome anyone.

“I’m honored and excited to be part of LOLA because I know it will positively impact our associates and our organization. It will help cultivate a pipeline for Latinx talent and provide insight, access, and support to be successful in their careers,” Carlos Torres, EVP Omni Retail, serving as Senior Advisor of LOLA.
