We begin today - and every day - in solidarity with our Black associates, as May 25, 2021, marks one year since the killing of George Floyd.
Floyd was a victim of systemic racism, but sadly, he is not alone. There were far too many other victims before and after him that didn’t garner as many headlines. Floyd’s death, however, has been a catalyst for a global movement to end such senseless hate, refocusing attention on the need to support equity and justice.
Around the world, many communities have experienced tragic acts of discrimination, violence and racism, emphasizing that there is still much work to be done. At PVH, we will keep moving towards social and racial justice and equality, and we stand in solidarity with under-represented communities.
We asked some of our associates to reflect on the journey of the past year: where we’ve come from; where we need to go; and how can we work to achieve equality in our workplace, marketplace and community.
