Inclusion & Diversity

PVH and The PVH Foundation Welcome New Global Partners for 2024 Commitment to Professional Advancement in Fashion

We are proud to announce that we have extended a number of partnerships with community organizations that are making impressive strides to amplify access to careers in the fashion industry in underrepresented communities.

As part of our I&D Commitments established in 2021, PVH, through The PVH Foundation, launched a program to invest a total of $10 million USD over four years with global nonprofit organizations focused on advancing professional opportunities in fashion for marginalized groups. This initiative was developed as a response to the industry report “State of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Fashion”, co-sponsored by PVH and the CFDA, which found that limited access to and awareness of careers in fashion were key factors contributing to a lack of representation in the fashion industry. By investing in programming, PVH hopes to provide critical opportunities for participants from underrepresented communities to explore careers in fashion, develop technical skills, receive mentorship and access meaningful professional development.

This year, we are excited to re-invest in existing partnerships and add nine new partner organizations to this initiative that are taking notable actions to promote access to the fashion industry. This will allow us to expand our reach to 13 different countries and brings our current investment through The PVH Foundation to $3.7 million USD.

To date, this initiative has now reached over 5,000 participants through over 100 educational events, including over 20 intensive fashion and internship programs. These activities are led by our incredible partner organizations and have been supported by over 200 PVH volunteers. We are also excited to see these efforts expand among other leaders within the fashion industry thanks to investments from Macy’s, Inc. and Crocs with the Misa Hylton Fashion Academy x PVH’s All Star Mentorship Program in North America.
