We recently launched a more holistic CR strategy consisting of ten commitments.
We contributed to the development of Hawassa Industrial Park, a vertical, scalable and sustainable new apparel manufacturing development in Hawassa, Ethiopia.
We expanded our CR capacity-building program to help empower suppliers and improve the lives of the nearly 1 million garment workers in our supply chain, including by visiting around 1,400 factories to provide training to suppliers.
In 2015, we began to act as the “lead” brand owner for the Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh (the “Accord”) in all factories where we have production, with our local assessors visiting all 72 of PVH’s Bangladeshi suppliers to encourage and monitor progress specifically on the Accord.
We helped raise over $3 million for the Ronald McDonald House New York at their 23rd Annual Gala.
We continued our support of Save the Children’s early education programs in the U.S. and Bangladesh and expanded our support to programs in China. We also launched our first U.S. cross-business volunteer service trip to Blackville, South Carolina.
Our Global Supply Chain teams donated their time and more than $94,500 to community initiatives in key sourcing regions.
