Calvin Klein Collection Presented Francisco Costa’s Resort 2013 Collection

NEW YORK, NY, JUNE 7, 2012 – Calvin Klein Collection announced today that the brands’ Women’s Creative Director, Francisco Costa, presented his Resort 2013 Calvin Klein Collection at the company’s New York headquarters earlier this morning to an audience of fashion editors, retailers, and stylists.

Mr. Costa presented 22 looks representing pure American sportswear with a balance between soft and architectural aesthetics. Linear silhouettes, often belted, were shown in python, pebbled prints and textures inspired by the desert. The palette, also drawing from nature, included shades of white, accented with sandalwood, citron and kelly. For evening, a sexier sensibility emerged in sheer gauze and chiffon dresses featuring sensual cutouts. Looks were paired with neutral colored, structured peep toe platform sandals, offered in classic leather and polished calf to exotic python and lizard.
