Peter Schlagboehmer is President, Retail and Licensing, Tommy Hilfiger North America, a role that he has held since April 2015. In this role, Peter is focused on elevating Tommy Hilfiger in North America and aligning the brand's positioning with other regions of the world.
Peter joined Tommy Hilfiger in 2007 as Vice President, Retail Europe, where he managed the evolution and strategic expansion of the retail business across the continent, including merchandising, planning, operations, visual merchandising and training. In 2008, he was appointed to the role of Vice President, Childrenswear, and a year later he relocated to New York City, where he oversaw Tommy Hilfiger's anchor stores across the United States – including the 2009 opening of the Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York. In 2010, Peter returned to the business's global headquarters in Amsterdam to assume the role of Senior Vice President, Retail Europe, and in 2013, he was appointed to the position of President, Brand Management, Tommy Hilfiger Europe.
Peter began his career in 1997 at the Breuninger department store in Germany, where he gained 10 years of experience overseeing the merchandising of menswear, denim, footwear, accessories and childrenswear.
