Our Heritage Brands business encompasses the design, sourcing and marketing of a varied selection of prominent brand label dress shirts, neckwear, sportswear, swim products, intimate apparel, underwear and related apparel and accessories, as well as the licensing of our Van Heusen, IZOD, ARROW and Warner’s brands, for an assortment of products. The Heritage Brands business also includes private label dress furnishings programs, particularly neckwear programs. We design, source and market substantially all of these products on a brand-by-brand basis, targeting distinct consumer demographics and lifestyles in an effort to minimize competition among our brands.
We distribute our Heritage Brands products at wholesale through department, chain and specialty stores, warehouse clubs and mass market, off-price and independent retailers (in stores and online) in the U.S. and Canada, as well as through select pure play digital commerce retailers. As a complement to our wholesale business, which is our core business, we also market products directly to consumers through our Heritage Brands stores, principally located in outlet centers throughout the U.S. and Canada. We currently sell our products online through our directly operated digital commerce site for Speedo, through the digital commerce sites of our third party retail partners and through select pure play digital commerce retailers. Global retail sales of our Heritage Brands business were approximately $3.3 billion in 2016.

With a strong foundation in men's dress furnishings, we believe that Van Heusen is one of the best selling national brands of dress shirts in the U.S. We also offer men's sportswear, neckwear and accessories and women’s dresswear, sportswear and accessories under the brand. Products are primarily distributed in North America through department stores and in approximately 165 company-operated outlet stores in the U.S. and Canada. The brand also has international appeal, with 26 licensees covering approximately 85 territories worldwide in product categories including men's, women's and children's formalwear, sportswear and accessories.
IZOD is known for its youthful, energetic, sports-inspired styling. Collections include men's classic, athletically inspired sportswear, golfwear, jeanswear and performance apparel and luxury-style sport collections. Products are primarily distributed in the U.S. and Canada through department stores (in stores and online). We also have 28 licensing agreements for IZOD, seven of which are international. The licensees operate approximately 30 free standing stores around the world.
ARROW is known for its classic American styling. The brand's heritage is in dress shirts and the offering has been expanded to include sportswear and neckwear. We believe that ARROW is one of the top selling dress shirt brands in the U.S. The brand is primarily sold across the U.S. and Canada through department store customers (in stores and online). Outside North America, ARROW is licensed in approximately 120 territories and appears on a broad assortment of men's, women's and children's apparel and apparel-related products. There are over 300 free standing ARROW stores globally.
Speedo is the world's top-selling swimwear brand, offering men's, women's and children's swimwear and accessories. The brand's heritage is deeply rooted in competitive swimming, and more Olympic gold medals have been won in Speedo than any other brand. PVH has the exclusive license to the brand in North America and the Caribbean, in perpetuity, from Speedo International, Ltd. In North America, Speedo is sold in over 10,000 stores encompassing all distribution channels, as well as through select pure play digital commerce retailers and on speedousa.com.
A long-time leading intimate apparel brand, Warner's targets the modern everyday woman, who is confident and practical. Warner's offers bras, panties and shapewear, and was the third best-selling brand for bras and panties in U.S. Department and Chain stores in 2016. The brand is primarily sold in the U.S. and Canada through department and mass market store customers (in stores and online), as well as select pure play digital commerce retailers.
Olga is a leading intimate apparel brand in North America, focused on fuller-figured women. Products, including bras, panties and shapewear are designed to be comfortable and engineered for a superior fit. Olga products are currently sold in the U.S. and Canada primarily through department stores (in stores and online), as well as select pure play digital commerce retailers.
Founded in 2012 by Michelle Lam, based in San Francisco and designed in New York City, True & Co. is a direct-to-consumer intimate apparel digital commerce retailer. True & Co.’s online Fit Quiz has transformed the way women shop online by matching recommendations far beyond typical measurements. Leveraging more than 130 million data points for over five million women to date, the company provides a uniquely personalized customer experience with great product. Products are distributed online at trueandco.com, with the brand currently sold exclusively in the U.S. The True & Co. acquisition, which closed in March 2017, will enable PVH to further participate in the fast growing online channel and provides a platform to increase innovation, data driven-decisions and speed in the way it serves its consumers across its channels.
